The Sasol Encyclopaedia of Science and Technology is the result of a careful analysis of education and general users' needs in the modern sciences and applied sciences. This resource was compiled by leading local and international science educators and professional scientists.
The CD-Rom version of the Sasol Encyclopaedia of Science and Technology is published in VirtualBook® format by Eduflex.com and New Africa Books. The Encyclopaedia includes more than 7500 entries drawn from the fields of biology, physics, chemistry, geology, geography, astronomy and technology.
Target Market
The Sasol Encyclopaedia of Science and Technology is the ideal comprehensive reference source for Secondary School learners and Further Education and Training (FET) students. It also provides a useful reference resource for professional and general use.
There are 2 installation versions of the CD ROM;
- Personal (Single User) version: the Book is licensed for one user on one PC. The user can make personal notes, bookmarks, highlights which are retained in the VirtualBook.
- Library version: the Book is licensed per PC. Anyone can use the Book and can make notes, bookmarks and highlights, but at the end of the session, these are not retained.
